MARSHFIELD WOMAN UNCOVERS $20,000 TAX PAID

A Springfield postal worker can have a great holiday season after scratching off a $20,000 tax-paid prize in a Missouri Lottery instant game. Sherrill Smith, 49, of Marshfield plans to use the windfall to pay off bills and "get caught up." Smith purchased her winning ticket Nov. 23 at Git-N-Go, 2963 E. Division in Springfield, on her way to work. "Tax-Paid 20 Grand," which went on sale in March, offers players 10 chances to win prizes up to $20,000 tax paid.
