ST. LOUIS WOMAN UNCOVERS A NEW TRUCK

A St. Louis (63123)* woman may be parking her 1987 Ford Escort soon after winning a 2001 Ford F-150 Lariat truck Saturday through the Missouri Lottery’s "Truckin’ to Luckytown" Scratchers game. Juanita Sidwell, 75, said she bought a few Scratchers tickets, one of which turned out to be the winning truck ticket, while she was shopping. Sidwell, who is retired, said her three grown children were thrilled for her. "I told my kids right away," she said. "My son is especially excited." Sidwell purchased her winning ticket at Dierbergs - McKenzie Point, 7233 Watson Road in St. Louis. In addition to the truck, Sidwell will also receive $500 for gas money, and the Lottery will pay 28 percent federal and 4 percent state withholding taxes on the prize package. "Truckin’ to Luckytown" officially went on sale June 10, 2000. *Zip code to determine coverage area.
