The Missouri Lottery’s Show Me Cash jackpot reached a staggering $889,000 on March 11 – the game’s second-highest jackpot ever. Two Missourians matched all five numbers drawn using Quick Pick, resulting in a two-way split of the jackpot prize. Each winner collected $444,500 before taxes.
Forty-four-year-old Guy Paternostro of Lee’s Summit was the first to claim his winning Show Me Cash ticket, which he bought at QuikTrip, 800 NE Woods Chapel Road, in Lee’s Summit. Ironically, the second winning ticket was also sold at a QuikTrip. Sheldon Lee of Independence bought his ticket at 4024 S. Noland Road in Independence. The winning numbers were: 10, 20, 23, 24 and 33.
