HOUSTON WOMAN WINS $100,000 POWERBALL PRIZE

A retired Houston woman can start off the new year with a clean slate after winning $100,000 in Powerball. Delores Salyer, 57, said she plans to use the money to pay off bills and help her son and his family. Salyer purchased her winning ticket at Town & Country Supermarket, Highway 63 South in Houston. She let the computer generate the numbers on her winning ticket. Those numbers were: 10, 15, 27, 43 and 45. To date, 571 tickets sold in Missouri have matched all five white-ball numbers drawn to win the $100,000 prize.
