On his regular morning stop for gas and a soda, Robert Schutte decided to scan his Lottery ticket purchased the previous day. Sparks flew when the 54-year-old welder from Imperial discovered that his Show Me Cash ticket was worth $142,000 for the Feb. 14 drawing. He explained that his celebration was so loud the store manager came out and wanted to know what the commotion was.
A daily Lottery player, Schutte said that the Lottery win came at just the right time. His current job is in a state of flux.
“The company I work for announced last week that they were shutting down,” Schutte shared. “God shined his light on me.”
Schutte purchased his winning Show Me Cash ticket at U-Gas, 3611 W. Outer Road, in Arnold. He used Quick Pick to pick the winning numbers: 14, 18, 19, 20, and 33.
Besides providing some income while he looks for a new job, Schutte says he will pay bills and pay off his house with his prize. He also plans to purchase a new car.
Show Me Cash is a daily Draw Game with jackpots that start at $50,000 and grow until someone wins.
