A Kansas City man has become the first player to claim a top prize on the Missouri Lottery Scratchers game, “$500 A Week For Life.” Michael Ousley, 29, bought the winning ticket at Pour Boys 8, 17 N.E. U.S. 69 Highway, in Kansas City. As indicated in the ticket name, the game features a top prize that pays $26,000 a year for life. Ousley opted for a lump-sum payment of $380,000 in lieu of the annuity.
“$500 A Week For Life” is a $1 game that officially began Jan. 2. The game features four top prizes that will pay $500 in a week in annual payments for the rest of a winner’s life. The game is one of a family of “life” games that feature prizes of $500, $1,000 and $2,500 a week for life.
