Lottery Transfers $25.4 Million for Public Education

Missouri Lottery ticket sales generated more than $25.4 million for public education during December. The monthly transfer of $25,439,087 brings the total transferred in FY13 to more than $166.5 million.

Since the Lottery began in 1986, it has generated more than $4.4 billion for the state and public education. Programs funded in FY13 include the A+ Scholarship Program, the Foundation Program and Access Missouri. Eleven Missouri Lottery Scratchers games will expire during the first quarter of 2013:

•  Game 834, “American Muscle” – expires Jan. 13;
•  Game 844, “Bedazzled” – expires Jan. 13;
•  Game 846, “Solid Gold” – expires Jan. 13;
•  Game 852, “Money Craze” – expires Jan. 20;
•  Game 859, “$100,000 Crossword” – expires Jan. 20;
•  Game 860, “$30 Grand” – expires Feb. 4;
•  Game 816, “Silver Anniversary” – expires Feb. 17;
•  Game 861, “Ruby Riches” – expires Feb. 17;
•  Game 875, “Quick $25s” – expires Feb. 23;
•  Game 877, “Cash Ka-Pow” – expires March 22; and
•  Game 843, “Missouri Lottery Black” – expires March 31.
