ST. LOUIS MAN GETS $100,000 RETIRMENT RELIEF

A retired real estate broker from St. Louis (63134*) added $100,000 to his retirement funds after matching all five white-ball numbers in Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing. Jim Stuart said that though he and his wife, Ruth, aren’t exactly sure what they’ll do with the winnings, they’re sure the money will help them in their golden years. Stuart, 74, purchased his winning ticket earlier this week while grocery shopping at Schnucks, 9785 St. Charles Rock Road in St. Louis. He let the computer pick the winning combination of numbers. They were: 31, 34, 39, 42 and 49. To date, 512 Powerball tickets worth $100,000 have been sold in Missouri since the game began in 1992. * zip code for media to determine coverage area
