For Mark Gremminger of Gravois Mills, a real-life rainy afternoon provided plenty of cash for the 23-year-old to save for the proverbial “rainy day.” It all started when Wednesday’s rain put an early end to Gremminger’s work plans.
“I got off work early because of the weather, and I was bored,” he explained. “So I just decided to buy a couple of tickets.”
His luck quickly turned after purchasing a Missouri Lottery “Triple Dough” Scratchers ticket at MJ’s Minit Mart, 311 Washburn, in Gravois Mills. To Gremminger’s surprise, he uncovered one of the game’s top prizes of $30,000 on his walk back home.
“It just popped up,” he said, recalling how his big win came after matching his number to the ticket’s lucky winning number, 17.
“I don’t know what I’m going to do with the money,” he added. “I’ve been having different ideas, and it’s been changing every 10 minutes.”
“Triple Dough” officially started Aug. 11. In addition to the $30,000 top prize, the $2 game also offers thousands of other prizes that range from $2 to $10,000. Remaining prizes for “Triple Dough,” and all other Missouri Lottery Scratchers games, can be monitored at MOLottery.com.
