$21.9 Million Sent to Education from Lottery Sales

The Missouri Lottery today sent $21.9 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund, which benefits public education. The monthly transfer of $21,999,902 brings the total transferred in FY13 to more than $89 million.

Since the Lottery began in 1986, it has generated more than $4.3 billion for the state and public education. Programs funded in FY13 include the A+ Scholarship Program, the Foundation Program and Access Missouri. Time Running Low on Seven Scratchers

Tickets from seven Scratchers games will expire during the next month. They are:
               
• Game 835, “5 Times Bingo,” – expires Oct. 13;
• Game 869, “Lucky Gold,” – expires Oct. 25;
• Game 836, “Red Hot Cherry Tripler,” – expires Oct. 27;
• Game 853, “St. Louis Blues,” – expires Oct. 31;
• Game 822, “$100,000 Taxes Paid,” – expires Nov. 3;
• Game 840, “Aces & 8’s,” – expires Nov. 18; and
• Game 838, “$100,000 Payday Bonus,” – expires Nov. 21.
