Lottery Transfers $23.3 Million for Public Education

Missouri Lottery ticket sales generated more than $23.3 million for public education during August.  The monthly transfer of $23,388,732 brings the total transferred in FY13 to more than $67 million.

Since the Lottery began in 1986, it has generated more than $4.3 billion for the state and public education. Programs funded in FY13 include the A+ Scholarship Program, the Foundation Program and Access Missouri. Eight Scratchers Expire in Next Two Months

Time is running out to redeem prizes in eight Missouri Lottery Scratchers games. They are:

• Game 845, “Silver 7’s,” – expires Sept. 16;
• Game 847, “Kansas City Chiefs,” – expires Sept. 29;
• Game 848, “St. Louis Rams,” – expires Sept. 29;
• Game 832, “Quick $100,” – expires Oct. 2;
• Game 835, “5 Times Bingo,” – expires Oct. 13;
• Game 869, “Lucky Gold,” – expires Oct. 25;
• Game 836, “Red Hot Cherry Tripler,” – expires Oct. 27; and
• Game 853, “St. Louis Blues,” – expires Oct. 31.
