One Month Later, Still No Claimant on $1 Million Powerball Prize

Exactly one month ago today, on Aug. 4, one ticket sold in St. Louis matched all five white balls drawn in the Powerball drawing to win $1 million.  But the owner of that ticket has yet to come forward.

The ticket was purchased at Safi Amoco, 1110 Salisbury St., in St. Louis, and the winning numbers were:  19, 30, 48, 53 and 55.

“We would hate for someone to misplace this ticket or not get their prize,” said May Scheve Reardon, executive director for the Missouri Lottery. “If you buy tickets at this gas station, please locate them and check them carefully.”

Powerball winners have exactly 180 days from the drawing to claim their prize.  In this case, the winner has until Jan. 31, 2013, to present the winning ticket.

The Missouri Lottery’s St. Louis office is located at 1831 Craig Park Ct., and other offices are located in Kansas City, Jefferson City and Springfield.  Maps to each office can be found on the Lottery’s website at MOLottery.com.
