$19 Million Transferred to Education from Lottery Sales


The Missouri Lottery today transferred more than $19 million to public education.  The monthly transfer of $19,023,827 brings the total transferred in FY13 to more than $44 million.

Since the Lottery began in 1986, it has generated more than $4.3 billion for the state and public education. Programs funded in FY12 include the A+ Scholarship Program, the Foundation Program and Access Missouri. Time is Running Out on 12 Scratchers

Twelve Scratchers games are scheduled to expire during the next month. They are:

Game 828, “Wild Doubler,” – expires Aug. 26;
Game 833, “$5,000 Payday,” – expires Aug. 26;
Game 839, “Bonus Crossword,” – expires Aug. 26;
Game 851, “5X The Fortune,” – expires Aug. 26;
Game 854, “Holiday Treasures,” – expires Aug. 26;
Game 855, “Silver Bells,” – expires Aug. 26;
Game 856, “Nutcracker Cash,” – expires Aug. 26;
Game 857, “Candy Cane Cash,” – expires Aug. 26;
Game 858, “Secret Santa,” – expires Aug. 26;
Game 845, “Silver 7’s,” – expires Sept. 16;
Game 847, “Kansas City Chiefs,” – expires Sept. 29;
Game 848, “St. Louis Rams,” – expires Sept. 29.
