Olivette Man Makes $1 Million with Match 5 Powerball Prize

The millionaires in Missouri keep multiplying, thanks to Powerball’s new prize structure. Anthony Easterwood of Olivette used Quick Pick to match all five white-ball numbers drawn on July 7. This marks the seventh time a Missourian has won $1 million since the game changed in mid-January. Prior to Jan. 15, Powerball players who matched all five white-ball numbers won $200,000.

Easterwood, 24, purchased his Powerball ticket at Village Café, 800 Market St., in St. Louis.

Powerball, a multi-lottery game with jackpots starting at $40 million, offers players nine ways to win cash prizes. Easterwood is the 345th Missouri Lottery-made millionaire.
