June got off to a bountiful start for a Kennett man, when he uncovered a $20,000 tax-paid prize in the Missouri Lottery’s "Tax Paid 20 Grand" Scratchers game. David Conder, 44, said he plans to use the prize money to pay bills, help his four children and maybe take a vacation. Conder purchased the winning ticket June 1 at I-70 Express in Bates City, when he stopped for gas and drinks. He bought two instant tickets, and one turned out to be worth $20,000 tax paid. "Tax Paid 20 Grand," the Lottery’s 350th Scratchers game, officially went on sale on March 17.
