Lottery Transfers $23.9 Million to Education

The Missouri Lottery today transferred $23.9 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund for public education programs. The total transfer of $23,926,372 was from proceeds from April ticket sales, and brings the total for Fiscal Year 2012 to more than $262.6 million.

Since the Lottery began in 1986, it has generated more than $4.2 billion for the state and public education. Programs funded in FY12 include the A+ Scholarship Program, the Foundation Program and Access Missouri. Six Scratchers to Expire Soon

Only a little more than a month remains to redeem prizes in six Scratchers games.  They are:

Game 818, “Diamond Doubler,” – expires May 20;
Game 817, “Anniversary Cruise,” – expires June 2;
Game 820, “Money Tripler,” – expires June 2;
Game 825, “Match 3 Tripler,” – expires June 2;
Game 826, “Bass Pro Shops,” – expires June 2;
Game 830, “Battleship,” – expires June 2.
