Missouri Lottery Generates $25.6 Million for Public Education

The Missouri Lottery today transferred $25.6 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund for public education programs. The total transfer of $25,663,646 was from proceeds from February ticket sales, and brings the total for Fiscal Year 2012 to more than $208 million.

Since the Lottery began in 1986, it has generated more than $4.2 billion for the state and public education. Programs funded in FY12 include the A+ Scholarship Program, the Foundation Program and Access Missouri. Time is Running Low on 11 Scratchers Games

Eleven Scratchers games will expire during the next few months.  They are:

• Game 792, “Casino Cash,” – expires March 31;
• Game 809, “Power 7’s,” – expires March 31;
• Game 810, “Monopoly,” – expires March 31;
• Game 812, “7-11-21,” – expires March 31;
• Game 831, “Cash Bam Boom,” – expires March 31;
• Game 815, “Sweet 7’s” – expires April 14;
• Game 801, “Pure Gold,” – expires May 1;
• Game 811, “5X The Money,” – expires May 1;
• Game 814, “Take $100!,” – expires May 1;
• Game 821, “Quick Cash,” – expires May 1; and
• Game 818, “Diamond Doubler,” – expires May 20.
