Lottery Sends $21.4 Million to Education
The Missouri Lottery today sent $21.4 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund for public education programs. The total transfer of $21,416,680 was based on proceeds from January ticket sales, and brings the total for Fiscal Year 2012 to more than $182 million.
Since the Lottery began in 1986, it has generated more than $4.1 billion for the state and public education. Programs funded in FY12 include the A+ Schools Program, the Foundation Program and Access Missouri. Scratchers to Expire by End of March
Time is running out to redeem prizes from six Scratchers games. These games are scheduled to expire by the end of March:
Game 823, “Bonus Word Crossword,” – expires Feb. 18;
Game 792, “Casino Cash,” – expires March 31;
Game 809, “Power 7’s,” – expires March 31;
Game 810, “Monopoly,” – expires March 31;
Game 812, “7-11-21,” – expires March 31; and
Game 831, “Cash Bam Boom,” – expires March 31.
