St. Louis Man Makes Quick Cash with Club Keno
Jacob Quick of St. Louis (*63125) made some very speedy cash on Feb. 2, when he used his own number combination to win a $16,012 Missouri Lottery Club Keno jackpot.
The 37-year-old construction company owner said he has a system for selecting his numbers, and “it finally paid off.”
Quick noticed that certain “groups of numbers were coming up more than others,” so he “just started playing them all of the time.”
He joked that when he first saw that his numbers had hit, he “thought it probably must be a mistake.”
As for how he’ll use the windfall, Quick plans to “put it in the bank and pick up about three more Keno cards just in case lightning strikes twice.”
Quick purchased his 7-Spot Keno To Go ticket with Double Bulls-Eye at Circle K, 1940 Union Road, in St. Louis.
To play “Club Keno,"
players can choose how many different numbers (also called “spots”) they want to play from 1 to 10. Twenty numbers from a field of one to 80 are chosen in a computerized random Club Keno drawing held every four minutes.
