Lottery Generates $25.8 Million in Proceeds for Education

During the past month, the Missouri Lottery transferred $25.8 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund to benefit public education programs. The transfer of $25,849,027 was based on proceeds from December ticket sales, and brings the total for Fiscal Year 2012 to more than $161 million.

Since the Lottery began in 1986, it has generated more than $4.1 billion for the state and public education. Programs funded in FY12 include the A+ Schools Program, the Foundation Program and Access Missouri.                                                   Eleven Games Set to Expire in Early 2012

Eleven Scratchers games are scheduled to expire during the first three months 2012. They are:

Game 744, “Monte Carlo,” – expires Jan. 16;
Game 793, “Lucky Gold,” – expires Jan. 16;
Game 802, “Show Me 7’s,” – expires Jan. 16;
Game 803, “Spicy Cash,” – expires Jan. 16;
Game 813, “5X Bingo,” – expires Jan. 16;
Game 823, “Bonus Word Crossword,” – expires Feb. 18;
Game 792, “Casino Cash,” – expires March 31;
Game 809, “Power 7’s,” – expires March 31;
Game 810, “Monopoly,” – expires March 31;
Game 812, “7-11-21,” – expires March 31; and
Game 831, “Cash Bam Boom,” – expires March 31.
