St. Louis Man Claims $200,000 Powerball Prize

Story Photo A St. Louis man has stepped forward to claim a $200,000 Powerball prize from the Nov. 26 drawing. Brian Marchlewski, 31, matched all five white-ball numbers on a $2 Quick Pick ticket to win the prize. He bought the ticket at QuikTrip, 6900 Gravois Road, in St. Louis.
The winning Powerball numbers on Nov. 26 were:  20, 37, 39, 45 and 55. The Powerball number was 28. There was no jackpot winner, and Marchlewski was the only player in any state to win $200,000 in the drawing.
Powerball is a multi-lottery Draw Game with jackpots that start at $20 million. For an extra $1 at the time of purchase, players can add the Power Play option and multiply any non-jackpot prizes by a Power Play number selected during the drawing. Currently, players who match five white-ball numbers with Power Play win $1 million, but the prize is going up to $2 million when changes to Powerball take effect on Jan. 15, 2012.
