Marshall Man Wins $18,000 Playing Pick 4

Story Photo A Marshall man won big by buying multiple Pick 4 tickets. Manuel Suarez, 64, matched the winning Pick 4 combination for the Nov. 3 midday drawing. The winning numbers were:  2-6-2-6. He purchased three $1 straight tickets at Break Time, 1000 W. College, in Marshall. By matching the winning combination in exact order, he won $6,000 on each ticket, for a total prize of $18,000.
Pick 4 is a twice-daily Draw Game. The top prize in the game is $6,000, but players can win more by purchasing multiple tickets. A Doniphan man also won $18,000 playing Pick 4 in late September using the same strategy. Players can chose any combination of four numbers between zero and nine, or let the computer select a random combination for them. Pick 4 is drawn daily at 12:45 p.m. and 9 p.m.
