Lottery Prize Sends St. Louis Woman Packing
Donna Kruse’s life “just got a little bit easier,” thanks to winning a $55,558 top prize on a Missouri Lottery “5 Times Bingo” Scratchers ticket. The 51-year-old St. Louis woman plans to “catch up on bills” and take a special trip with the windfall.
“I was having a bad day, but winning this turned things around,” said Kruse.
The mother-of-one and grandmother-of-three will also be using a portion of the prize money to visit her daughter in Florida.
“This is such a relief,” added Kruse, who noted that the win “came just in time for the holidays.”
“I haven’t seen my daughter in a long time. I can’t wait to fly out to Florida to spend time with her and my grandkids!”
The first-time Lottery winner purchased the winning ticket at Circle K, 2707 McCausland Ave., in St. Louis.
“5 Times Bingo
” is a $3 ticket with a top prize of $55,558 that officially started on May 28.
