Columbia Man Wins $4,000 Lottery Prize

Story Photo Jason Melegrito of Columbia said that he was drawn to the Missouri Lottery “$3,000,000 Taxes Paid” Scratchers ticket because he read a story on Molottery.com about a man who won $10,000 playing the game. Melegrito, 44, decided to give it a try and ended up winning $4,000.
He purchased his winning ticket at Gerbes Super Market, 2900 N. Paris Road, in Columbia.
Melegrito said he was intrigued by the larger prizes offered on the $20 Scratchers games, and he indicated that he would continue playing the “older” games with several prizes that remain unclaimed.
$3,000,000 Taxes Paid” is a $20 game that officially began Aug. 13. The top prize in the game is $3,000,000 taxes paid. Players can track prizes remaining for this and every Missouri Lottery Scratchers game here at Molottery.com.
