Arnold Woman Wins $200,000 Playing Powerball

A woman from Arnold has claimed a $200,000 Powerball prize from the Nov. 2 drawing. Linda Meister, 48, matched all five white-ball numbers for that drawing on a Quick Pick ticket she purchased at Mobil On The Run, 1111 Main St., in Imperial. Mobil On The Run will receive a bonus equal to 1 percent of the prize amount, $2,000, for selling the winning ticket.
The winning numbers for the Nov. 2 drawing were:  12, 14, 34, 39 and 36. That evening’s jackpot of $245 million was won by a player in Connecticut.
Powerball is a multi-lottery Draw Game with jackpots that start at $20 million. For an extra $1 at the time of purchase, players can add Power Play and increase any non-jackpot prize by a Power Play number selected during the drawing. The second-level prize of $200,000 becomes an automatic $1 million.
