Lottery Sends $22.8 Million To Education
The Missouri Lottery today sent $22.8 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund to benefit public education programs. The monthly transfer of $22,839,592 was based on proceeds from October ticket sales, and brings the total for Fiscal Year 2012 to $109.9 million.
Since the Lottery began 25 years ago, it has generated more than $4.1 billion for the state and public education. Programs funded in FY12 include the A+ Schools Program, the Foundation Program and Access Missouri. Game 783, “The Price is Right,” – expires Dec. 20; and
Game 794, “Triple Win,” – expires Dec. 20.
