Fulton Family's Fantasies Become Realities with $100,000 Lottery Prize
Donna Bigsby’s dream to purchase a new home and vehicle will be coming true, thanks to winning a $100,000 prize on a Missouri Lottery Scratchers ticket. The 34-year-old Fulton woman said her two children also have plans for the prize money.
“Both of my kids want bikes,” Bigsby said. “So they’ll both be getting those. They’re really excited, because they’ve been asking me for new bikes for a while.”
Bigsby, who is studying to become an early childhood education teacher, added that she “started crying” when she realized she had won a top prize on a “10X The Money” game.
“My kids, nieces and nephews were at my house at the time,” she explained. “They thought something was wrong, but I said, ‘Here, look at this!’ Everyone was jumping up and down.”
The first-time Lottery winner recalled saying, “Am I dreaming?” while starring at the prize amount.
“I signed the ticket and put it in a safe until I was able to get here (Lottery headquarters) to claim the prize,” she said. “This will definitely make daily life easier.”
Bigsby purchased the winning ticket at Break Time, 405 W. Fourth St., in Fulton.
“10X The Money
