Lunch Break at Break Time Leads to $9,125 Prize
Richard Swank of Moberly has been telling his family and friends that he’s “going to win (the Missouri Lottery) one day.” That day finally came on Oct. 19, while eating lunch at Break Time, 1210 Highway 24, in Moberly. The father-of-one and grandfather-of-two selected his own numbers for the Pick 4 drawing, and he ended his lunch with a dessert made of dollar signs.
“I was born on the 16th, and I was born in 1959, so I play 1-6-5-9,” Swank explained.
The feat earned Swank a $9,125 payday.
As for plans for the windfall, the first-time Lottery winner intends to celebrate with his family at Red Lobster. In addition to dining at Swank’s favorite restaurant, he added that the prize will help make it a “nice Christmas.”
“I’m very, very happy!” he exclaimed.
