Lottery Transfers $21.7 Million To Public Education

The Missouri Lottery today transferred $21.7 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund to benefit public education programs. The monthly transfer of $21,786,222 was based on proceeds from September ticket sales, and brings the total for Fiscal Year 2012 to $87 million.

Since the Lottery began 25 years ago, it has generated more than $4.1 billion for the state and public education. Programs funded in FY12 include the A+ Schools Program, the Foundation Program and Access Missouri.                                                    Nine Scratchers To Expire by End of 2011

Nine Scratchers games will expire by the end of the year.  They are:

Game 765, “Break the Bank” – expires Oct. 22;
Game 766, “9’s In a Line,” – expires Oct. 22;
Game 769, “Cherry Twist,” – expires Nov. 12;
Game 774, “Ace in the Hole,” – expires Nov. 12;
Game 819, “Lucky Shamrocks,” – expires Nov. 12
Game 785, “Triple Dough,” – expires Dec. 3;
Game 782, “10X the Cash” – expires Dec. 20;
Game 783, “The Price is Right,” – expires Dec. 20; and
Game 794, “Triple Win,” – expires Dec. 20.
