PICK 3 BONUS BALL DRAWN TWO TIMES DURING THE WEEKEND, WINNERS SOAR

Nearly 3,000 Pick 3 players on Friday and Saturday won a prize after matching the second "bonus" set of numbers drawn in the Pick 3 Bonus Numbers Promotion. In addition, another 1,324 Pick 3 players won a prize on those two nights in the regular drawing. "Since the bonus promotion began on Oct. 14, the prize payout has been 114 percent," said Scott White, on-line product manager for the Missouri Lottery. "On Friday night alone, the Lottery paid out $772,630 in prizes to Pick 3 players." During the four-week promotion, a drawing will be held in which one ball will be drawn from six white balls and one orange ball each night. If a white ball is drawn, it will be held out of the next drawing. If the orange ball is drawn, the Lottery will draw a bonus set of Pick 3 numbers giving players a second chance to win. The orange bonus ball is guaranteed to be drawn at least four times during the promotion. In the first week of the promotion, the orange ball has been drawn two times.
