Education Nets $19.2 Million from Lottery Sales in July
The Missouri Lottery today transferred $19.2 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund to benefit public education programs. The monthly transfer of $19,253,004 was based on proceeds from July tickets sales, and brings the total for Fiscal Year 2012 to $36,326,272.
Since the Lottery began 25 years ago, it has generated more than $4 billion for the state and public education. Programs funded in FY12 include the A+ Schools Program, the Foundation Program and Access Missouri. Time Running Out on Scratchers Games
Eight Scratchers games will expire in September. They are:
- Game 804, “Season’s Greetings” – expires Sept. 10;
- Game 805, “Merry Money,” – expires Sept. 10;
- Game 806, “Jingle Bell Bingo,” – expires Sept. 10;
- Game 807, “Frosty Fortune,” – expires Sept. 10;
- Game 808, “Happy Holidays – expires Sept. 10;
- Game 756, “Mega Bucks,” – expires Sept. 15;
- Game 796, “Crossword,” – expires Sept. 28; and
- Game 799, “Wild 8’s,” – expires Sept. 28.
