Sugar Creek Man Claims $75,000 Lottery Prize

The second-chance promotion associated with the Missouri Lottery Scratchers game “Bass Pro Shops®” is over, but the game continues to yield big prizes. A Sugar Creek man is the latest to claim a $75,000 top prize. Charles Purl bought his winning ticket at 24 Hi-Way Thriftway, 1000 W. U.S. Highway 24, in Independence.
“Bass Pro Shops®” is a $5 game that officially began March 26. Prizes remaining include one top prize of $75,000, prizes of $20,000 and $5,000, as well as more than 100 Bass Pro Shops® gift cards of $500.
