$1.6 Million Lotto Ticket Sold In Wentzville

The greater St. Louis area can claim another Missouri Lottery-made millionaire after a Lotto ticket purchased in Wentzville matched all six numbers drawn to win the $1.6 million jackpot prize on July 20. The ticket, which was purchased at Schnucks Market, 1960 Wentzville Parkway, contained the winning number combination of:  4, 21, 22, 33, 35 and 37.

According to May Scheve Reardon, executive director for the Missouri Lottery, the ticket marks the 206th Lotto jackpot winner since the game started in 1986.

“To the lucky player holding this ticket worth $1.6 million, the first thing you need to do is sign the back of it. Then keep it in a safe place until you can come to one of our four Lottery offices, including one in St. Louis, to claim your jackpot prize.” she said.

Lotto winners have exactly 180 days from the drawing to claim their prize.  In this case, the winner has until Jan. 16, 2012. Missouri Lottery offices are located in St. Louis, Kansas City, Jefferson City and Springfield.  Maps to each office can be found on the Lottery’s website at Molottery.com.
