Bunceton Man Makes $100,000 'Payday Bonus'

Story Photo audio icon A Bunceton man uncovered the first top prize on the Missouri Lottery’s first double-sided Scratchers ticket. Robert Jungmeyer, 52, won $100,000 on a “$100,000 Payday Bonus” Scratchers game that he purchased at Dave’s Country Mart, 105 S. Moreau Ave., in Tipton.
“My heart quit beating for a minute,” recalled Jungmeyer over laughter, noting that he was in the store when he scratched off the prize amount.
Unsure if what he was seeing was real, the father-of-two asked a clerk to check his ticket. After learning that he was holding a winning ticket in his hand, the construction worker “went on to work.”
“It hadn’t hit me yet,” he said.
In terms of plans for the windfall, Jungmeyer will pay bills and “keep on working.” Additionally, he joked that his “boys are already hollering for money.”

$100,000 Payday Bonus” is a $5 game that features play areas on the front and back of tickets. The Scratchers ticket officially began on July 2.
