RAMMAHA WINS NEW TRUCK AFTER CONVENTION

A Fenton man who rarely plays the Missouri Lottery scratched off a brand new truck in the Lottery’s "Truckin’ to Luckytown" instant game. Ron Rammaha, 36, said he had just returned to St. Louis Monday after attending the National Republican Convention in Philadelphia. He said he stopped at Schnucks Market, 241 Fenton Park Mall in Fenton, to buy groceries since he’d been gone, and he said he "had a feeling" about buying some lottery tickets. "I don’t think I’ve bought a ticket in the past five years," said Rammaha, who is a real estate investor for Vision Properties Inc. and is running for a public office in Jefferson County. A $1 ticket he purchased turned out to be worth a new 2001 Ford F-150 Lariat 4WD Supercrew Styleside SB truck. In addition, Rammaha will also receive $500 for gas money. The Lottery will pay 28 percent federal and 4 percent state withholding tax on the prize package. "Truckin’ To Luckytown" officially went on sale June 10.
