Fulton Woman Invests in Her Family's Future with $100,000 Lottery Prize

Story Photo audio icon A Fulton woman is “still in shock” after claiming a $100,000 prize on a Missouri Lottery “10X The Money” Scratchers ticket on May 10. Thanks to the unexpected windfall, Tracy Coffman, 35, is making plans for the future.

The mother-of-three said she and her husband will “pay off things to where we don’t have payments.”

In addition to becoming debt free, the Petro Mart employee plans to invest the rest of her winnings.

“The investment part of it will bring us income at a later date, when we normally wouldn’t have had it.”

As for her overall Lottery-winning experience, a “happy and excited” Coffman said, “It’s unreal!”

The winning Missouri Lottery “10X The Money” Scratchers ticket, which has a top prize of $100,000 and more than $18 million in prizes overall in the game, was purchased at Mertens Mini Mart, 6603 State Road NN, in Fulton.
