Wentzville Man Wins $10,000 Mega Millions Prize

A Wentzville man won $10,000 on a Mega Millions ticket he purchased in Bridgeton. Ross Schulte, 38, matched four white-ball numbers and the Megaball® number in the April 29 drawing. The winning numbers were:  9, 10, 11, 33, 51 and the Megaball® number was 29. Schulte bought the winning Quick Pick ticket at Phillips MPC 62, 13767 St. Charles Rock Road, in Bridgeton.

Schulte claimed the ticket at the St. Louis Lottery office on May 2. He said the windfall would be used to “pay bills.”

Mega Millions is a multi-lottery game with jackpots that start at $12 million. For an extra $1 at the time of purchase, players can add the Megaplier® option to their ticket and multiply all prizes other than the jackpot. A Megaplier® number between 2 and 4 is selected during the drawing. Players who match all five white-ball numbers and select the Megaplier® option will automatically win $1 million.
