Kansas City Woman Walks Away with $200,000 in Quick Cash
A Kansas City woman is starting off the spring season with an extra $200,000 in her pocket. Pamela James, 62, used Quick Pick to match all five white-ball numbers in the Powerball drawing on March 26. The winning white-ball numbers from the drawing were: 4, 10, 11, 19 and 33.
Not only is James heading to the bank, but Price Chopper, 4201 S. Noland Ave. in Independence, is also cashing a $2,000 check (equal to 1 percent of the prize amount), for selling the winning ticket.
Powerball is a multi-lottery Draw Game with jackpots that start at $20 million. James’ ticket was the 177th second-level winning Powerball ticket sold in Missouri.
