FESTUS MAN UNCOVERS A NEW TRUCK
A Festus man uncovered a brand new truck in the Lottery’s "Truckin’ to Luckytown" instant game. John J. White, 51, said he bought two "Truckin’ to Luckytown" tickets on Aug. 11 during one of his regular stops at the Smoke Shop, 520 Bailey in Crystal City. He scratched off the ticket and discovered it was worth a top prize about half an hour later while at his brother’s house.
White, who is a security director, said he definitely plans to keep "and enjoy" the prize, which is a 2001 Ford F-150 Lariat 4WD Supercrew Styleside SB truck. In addition, White will also receive $500 for gas money, and the Lottery will pay 28 percent federal and 4 percent state withholding tax on the prize package.
"Truckin’ to Luckytown" officially went on sale June 10.
