Lottery Sales Generate $25.7 Million For Education
The Missouri Lottery today transferred $25.7 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund to benefit public education programs. The transfer of $25,773,069 was based on proceeds from March ticket sales, and brings the total transferred in FY11 to more than $216.8 million.
Since the Lottery began 25 years ago, it has generated more than $3.9 billion for the state and public education.
