A technician with the Cooper County Soil and Water District is ready to set sail, thanks to his win on a “Missouri Lottery’s 25th Anniversary Cruise” Scratchers ticket. Brandon Cook of Jamestown instantly won a seven-night Caribbean cruise vacation for two on a ticket he purchased at Lucky Dog Pub & Grill, 107 W. Row St., in Jamestown.

“It was just by pure luck that this was the ticket I happened to buy that day,” Cook, 24, shared, recalling how he looked at several Scratchers games on display before he casually picked the one that would send him and his girlfriend, Joanie, on a trip aboard a Royal Caribbean International ship – the largest ships at sea.

Having never been on a cruise, Cook said what he’s looking forward to most is “just getting away for seven days of not worrying about anything.”

Cook’s cruise vacation package includes an ocean-view balcony stateroom, round-trip first-class airfare, deluxe hotel accommodations the night prior to the cruise, ground transportation to and from the ship, a new set of luggage, $1,000 onboard spending credit and $500 cash. In total, his dream vacation is valued at approximately $19,000.

“Missouri Lottery’s 25th Anniversary Cruise" ticket is a $5 Scratchers game, offering top prizes of $75,000 and more than 25 instant-win cruise vacations. Details about remaining prizes for the game, which officially began Jan. 22, can be found at Molottery.com.
