Lottery Transfers $20.5 Million to Education
The Missouri Lottery sent $20.5 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund to benefit public education programs during the past month. The transfer of $20,593,029 was based on proceeds from February ticket sales, and brings the total transferred in FY11 to more than $191 million.Since the Lottery began 25 years ago, it has generated more than $3.9 billion for the state and public education.
