Mexicoan Scratches Way To $77,000 Lottery Win
When Justin Martin scratched a Lottery ticket his father had just given him, he thought he was the victim of a cruel joke. Jim Martin, Justin’s father, regularly buys Lottery tickets and often shares them with his family. But Justin was skeptical when his ticket appeared to be worth $77,000.

Jim Martin buys Missouri Lottery tickets almost every day, but his son’s ticket was the largest winning amount he has witnessed. The ticket was purchased on Feb. 18 at Break Time, 1411 W. Monroe, in Mexico. Justin’s winning “Power 7’s” Missouri Lottery Scratchers ticket was the top prize.
After realizing the ticket was legitimate, Justin Martin, 28, did not waste time.
“How fast can we get to the Lottery office,” he asked his father.
The Mexico native plans to pay bills with his prize and may use some of the money to fix his Fiat Spider sports car. He also plans on paying back his father for the $5 Lottery ticket.
“Well, don’t expect anything for your birthday,” added his father.
