Missouri Lottery Sends $21.6 Million to Proceeds Fund for Education
The Missouri Lottery transferred $21.6 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund to benefit public education programs during the past month. The transfer of $21,694,976 was based on proceeds from January tickets sales, and brings the total transferred in FY11 to more than $170.5 million.Since the Lottery began 25 years ago, it has generated more than $3.9 billion for the state and public education.
