First Silver Anniversary Drawing Yields 25 Cash Winners

Twenty-five Missouri Lottery winners are $1,000 richer after their names were drawn Feb. 17 in the first monthly “Silver Anniversary” promotional drawing. In addition to winning cash, the winners will now be entered into the grand-prize drawing for $1 million on Jan. 20, 2012.

The winners are: Donald Davis of Arnold; Shirley Brown of Ballwin; Mary Jennings of Butler; Carol Young of Cuba; Jacqueline Spaunhorst of Florissant; Shannon Box of Granby; Falechia Williams of Grandin; Ted Hortiz of Imperial; Lola Gilgen of Joplin; Lucia Miller of Kirkwood; Valerie Carle, Ronald Garoutte and Barbara Lindley, all of Lee’s Summit; Kim Fitzpatrick of Lincoln; Kathy Cook and Jason Hubbard, both of Marshall; Hubert Harris of New Madrid; Stanley Sitzes of O’Fallon; Rita Becker and Marsha Galvan, both of Park Hills; Dennis Rhoades of St. Charles; Jackie Jackels of St. Louis; Eric Barnhart of Spokane; Theresa Brink of Sturgeon; and Josh Harris of Troy.

“We’re making winners year-round in this promotion,” said Kristin Vuilcott, promotions manager for the Missouri Lottery. “There is still plenty of time to get in the action and have a chance to win $1 million.”

Eleven monthly drawings remain in the anniversary promotion. The next entry deadline is March 15 for the drawing on March 17, St. Patrick’s Day. Players can enter at molottery.com; one non-winning $10 “Silver Anniversary” equals one entry. 

Missouri Lottery’s Silver Anniversary” is a $10 Scratchers game which officially began Jan. 22. In addition to the promotion, the game offers cash prizes up to $250,000 instantly.
