A Raytown woman turned $10 into a quarter of a million dollars when she uncovered the first top prize in the Missouri Lottery’s “Silver Anniversary” Scratchers game. Connie Fiser bought the winning ticket at Apple Market, 7506 Raytown Road, in Raytown.

"Silver Anniversary," a $10 game with a top prize of $250,000, officially began on Jan. 22.

During the Missouri Lottery’s “Silver Anniversary” promotion, 25 winners will be drawn each month to win $1,000 each and move forward to a grand-prize drawing for the chance to become a millionaire.
