DITTMER WOMAN WINS NEW TRUCK

A Dittmer woman who plays the Lottery regularly scratched off a brand new truck in the Lottery’s "Truckin’ to Luckytown" instant game. Maryann Mackewich, 40, assistant manager of Dirt Cheap Cheap Cigarettes and Beer, 8455 Gravois in Affton, buys "six to 10 Scratchers tickets a week." A $1 ticket she purchased turned out to be worth a new 2001 Ford F-150 Lariat 4WD Supercrew Styleside SB truck. In addition, Mackewich will also receive $500 for gas money. The Lottery will pay 28 percent federal and 4 percent state withholding tax on the prize package. "Truckin’ to Luckytown" officially went on sale June 10.
