St. Louis Man Turns $10 Ticket into $20,000 Prize

Story Photo A St. Louis man is $20,000 richer after uncovering the prize on a Missouri Lottery “100 Million Dollar Blockbuster” Scratchers ticket on Jan. 24.  Clarence Schmid, 74, bought the winning ticket at Dierbergs, 2516 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis. 

"100 Million Dollar Blockbuster," a $10 ticket with a top prize of $1 million, officially began on Sept. 26, 2007.  To date, four top prizes, as well as thousands of prizes ranging from $10 to $20,000, remain in play.
