Sugar Creek Woman Wins $250,000 Mega Millions Prize
Penina Tali of Sugar Creek has claimed the 10th Mega Millions prize won in Missouri of $250,000. Tali, 56, used Quick Pick to select the five white-ball numbers that won her a quarter of a million dollars in the Dec. 28 drawing. The winning numbers were: 6, 18, 36, 40 and 49. Tali purchased the winning ticket at QuikTrip, 2601 S. 291 Highway, in Independence.Mega Millions is a multi-state game that features jackpots starting at $12 million. Drawings are held on Tuesday and Friday nights at 10 p.m.
