A Missouri Lottery player who bought a Show Me Cash ticket at Metropolitan Newstands, 211 N. Broadway in St. Louis, has won more than three quarters of a million dollars! One Show Me Cash ticket sold there for the Dec. 29 drawing matched all five numbers drawn – 11, 17, 19, 27 and 39 – to win the jackpot prize of $775,000, the second-highest ever in the game.
"We want everyone who purchased Show Me Cash tickets at Metropolitan Newstands to check those tickets very closely," said May Scheve Reardon, executive director for the Missouri Lottery. “To that lucky someone holding the jackpot ticket, be sure to sign the back of it and keep it in a safe place until you can claim your prize at a Lottery office.”
Show Me Cash winners have exactly 180 days from the drawing to claim their prize. In this case, the winner has until June 27, 2011. Missouri Lottery offices are located in St. Louis, Jefferson City, Kansas City and Springfield. Maps to each office can be found on the Lottery’s website at Molottery.com.
The Dec. 29 drawing produced the 119th winning Show Me Cash jackpot ticket sold since the game began in September of 2008. The $775,000 prize is the second-highest jackpot to date; the highest was a $829,986 prize from the Dec. 3 drawing, which was claimed by two St. Louis area linemen.
